Davis Started kindergarten on August 16th and had a great time. He came into my room the morning of his first day dressed and ready to go by 7:00 a.m. (school starts at 8:15). He told me that he was a little scared and we talked about some of the things he was going to do that day. He then told me that he felt a little better. I fixed him a bowl of oatmeal with juice and he didn't touch any of it, he was pretty nervous. I was proud of him though because despite being anxious about his first day, he jumped right into things with no problem. He has been talking about kindergarten for a good year now and I knew he was ready to go!!

So Davis ended up getting the teacher that I had requested, Mrs. Martin. We were so excited about getting her, I have heard wonderful things about her and she is darling!!
You and I always had similar tastes. Stockton has the same backpack as Davis and my girls have the same swimsuit as Kate!

He was nervous for his first day of school? I wonder who he gets that from???
ReplyDeleteYeaaa Davis! Jackson starts school on Wednesday and he is already getting nervous. I am glad we have a little back to school night tomorrow in preparation. Davis looks really cute in these pictures!
