Disneyland

So this is our third season with Disneyland season passes (well worth the investment). I swear I get more excited to go than Davis does, although he is a huge fan! Our favorite rides, rides we must do everytime we visit, are The Haunted Mansion, Pirates and Jungle Cruise. The last few times we have gone Davis has done Space Mountain and Splash Mountain, two of his new favorites. These pictures were taken on the Carousel in Fantasy Land. This was Kate's first time on the "horses" and she absolutely loved it! Although it was her first time on the carousel, it was not her first trip to Disneyland, she was 3 weeks old when she first visited Disneyland (that's how much we love it)!

Underwood Family Farms

Mark has a two week break so we decided to go to Underwood Family Farms the other day, located in Simi Valley. There are animals, fields to pick your own fruits and veggies, toys to play on, and picnic areas. We had a fun time and it was so nice to go and do something with dad for a change!! Davis loved climbing up and down this huge haystack.

Out in the fields we could pick most anything we wanted. We just picked strawberries and Davis was so excited he started picking any strawberry he saw whether it was ripe or not.

They provided wagons to pull your children in and Kate was so darling, she was always holding on with either one or two hands. She loved being pulled around (atleast for the first five minutes)!

Grandpa Woolf's Birthday

So Grandpa Woolf was in LA for his birthday. He took Mark and I to Dukes in Malibu for his birthday dinner (we have promised that one day we will be able to afford to take him out on his birthday).

We got him 5000 Year Leap and Guns, anything and everything you could possibly want to know about GUNS!! Happy Birthday Grandpa Woolf, it was fun to celebrate with you!

So I recently discovered that Kate has curly hair. The other day I bought scrunch gel so her curls stay tight and "nonfrizzy". It is kind of hard to tell that her hair is curly with her big bow on but I love the curls!!

On Saturday I was shredding a bunch of papers and when I got up to answer the phone, Kate discovered my pile.

Kate has started pulling herself up on everything and her favorite spot is under the table holding onto the bench!

Davis has been taking swimming lessons at the YMCA for about 4 weeks now and loves it! He enjoys getting into the water and wearing his swim cap. This was taken before swim lessons last Saturday.

Top: Kate loves watching Davis play in the tub. When she hears the bathroom door open and me turn the water on, she drops whatever she is doing and army crawls as fast as she can to the bathroom!

Terry Family

So this is my first attempt at blogging and I feel completely overwhelmed! I think there is way too much for me to learn about designing my own blog...we'll see how it goes! So one of the first things I realized in starting our family blog is that we have never had a picture taken with all 4 of us in it. When I think about it I realize that is totally lame, I need to be a better picture taker. This is the only picture I could find where either Mark or I was with both of our children. So for now this photo will have to do. Mark took this photo on Mother's Day-what a great day!

Davis Bryan Terry

So Davis is now 3! I still can't believe some days that I have a 3 year old. He had quite the year. In August Davis became a BIG brother and plays the role very well! He is very protective of his little sister Kate and just adores her. He also started preschool in September (a co-op with five of his friends). He turned 3 on March 2nd and also learned to wear big boy underwear, that's quite a lot for a busy little guy!! Davis is so much fun and has such a great personality. There is nothing like having a sweet little boy...well, maybe having a sweet little girl too? This is Davis on his awesome Harley Davidson scooter.

We went to Arizona for Christmas and Mark's parents arranged for a horse and wagon ride. We had a great time roaming the neighborhood singing Christmas carols. Davis got to sit on one of the horses after the ride.

This was Davis' first day of school and of course I could not get him to smile. I couldn't get him to put his backpack on either but he would of course, hold his lunch bag. If anyone knows Davis they know that he enjoys eating!!

Kate Diane Terry

Kate was born August 15, 2008 in Santa Monica, California. She weighed 6 1/2 pounds and at 9 months has come a long way in the size department. Last week at her 9 month check up I learned that she is in the 90 percentile for weight and height! I have loved having a girl even more than I thought I would! It has been so much fun watching Kate and Davis interact and play with one another. They get along so well and will stay up for hours sometimes laughing and talking in their room at night.
